Daniel Finch
Managing Director
A trade-qualified heavy-duty diesel mechanic, Daniel founded Finmec (formerly EMS) in 2007. His extensive experience across Western Australia has been instrumental in the company's growth and establishment of a workshop in Port Hedland.

Jessica Finch
Business Improvements Manager
Jessica has been with Finmec (previously EMS) since its inception. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of WA and previously worked developing ‘return to work’ and rehabilitation programs for injured employees.

Larry Thomas
Financial Controller
With a Bachelor of Commerce and CPA accreditation, Larry brings over 30 years of accounting experience. His expertise includes cash flow forecasting, management, and statistical analysis of business indicators.

Paul Huckle
Site Support & Hire Fleet Operations Manager
With over 20 years of experience in transport and manufacturing, Paul brings extensive knowledge and leadership to Finmec. He plays a vital role in overseeing our site support teams and hire fleet operations, ensuring safety, quality, and outstanding customer service. Having stepped up in two key roles, Paul’s dedication and ownership mindset continue to drive Finmec’s success.

Chris Malcomson
Road Transport Maintenance Supervisor
Chris is our Road Transport Maintenance Supervisor in Port Hedland, a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with over 7 years’ industry experience. He started as an apprentice with Finmec and worked his way up to a leadership role in our transport team.

Simon Wendt
Earthmoving Maintenance Supervisor
Simon is our Earthmoving Maintenance Supervisor in Port Hedland, with 9 years of experience as a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic and a strong focus on keeping our equipment running at peak performance.

Eain Gray
Maintenance Superintendent
Eain is our Maintenance Superintendent based in Port Hedland, a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with over 20 years’ experience and a Cert IV in Leadership and Management. He brings a wealth of knowledge and strong leadership to our maintenance operations.

Adam Ford
Site Support Supervisor
Adam, our longest-serving team member with over 12 years at Finmec, joined in 2011 as a TA and completed his HD apprenticeship with us. Rising through roles from mechanic and leading hand to workshop and Site Support Supervisor, he’s become a cornerstone of our success.

Holly Hird
Human Resources Supervisor
Holly has been a valued member of the Finmec team for over six years, progressing from Administration Officer to Executive Assistant in the Hire department, and now thriving as Human Resources Supervisor, a role she’s held for four years after what was meant to be a short stay in Australia turned into a fulfilling long-term career.
